Here, we discuss the global political system that has emerged over the last few years. And we discuss why many in the West have a difficult time understanding the East. I argue that the two are like oil and water. They just cannot mix. And, because they cannot mix, the fantasy of a uni-polar world order is doomed. It will never happen. The best that can happen is a world that recognizes a multipolar world order; one where oil and water both coexist.
