In one breath
MM pictures the prison as a geode: a hollow inside the rock of the parent universe, lined with crystals. The hollow is the reality bubble where lives are lived; the crystals are the "Heavens", one sub-pocket per imprisoned species, where lives are reviewed and planned. Human Heaven is run by the Mantids, an insect-like multi-dimensional species. Each human has a Mantid (your "guardian angel"); above them sit the Mantid Primes, who write the curriculum. The Domain works with the first group and says the second still follows Old Empire orders.
The geode
Two details matter. First, the Heavens "do not actually exist in the Master Universe as inmates would understand"; they are prison fixtures (Commander, November 2021). Second, The Domain has never entered them: doing so would mean passing "through the electromagnetic washing of our very being", the same wash that erases inmates. That is why The Domain's rescue plan works from the reality side, at the moment of death, and not from inside Heaven.
Who the Mantids are
MM's description: a multi-dimensional invertebrate species that he believes evolved naturally on Earth, far older and "way, way, WAY more advanced" than the Greys, whose reality is "quite different from anything that us humans can comprehend". He calls them the species that is actually cultivating humans, and says "angels" is an apt word. PissedLizard describes them independently as the beings behind human affairs. Every human has one. They communicate through ritual, through dreams, and, when ignored, by shouting: moving the mouse, making deleted screenshots reappear, anything that says "pay attention".
What happens in Heaven
MM adopted Michael Newton's two books (Journey of Souls, Destiny of Souls) as the best available map of the human Heaven, and annotated them. The stages his readers should expect:
- Gateway and greeters. You are met by guides, soulmates or loved ones; an initial energy healing.
- Homecoming. Reunion with your soul group; some homecomings are celebrations.
- Review. A life review "with a council of elders". Every religion has a version. You are judged on how you handled the events, and that judgement maps the next life.
- School. Learning clusters: "in Heaven they are organized in educational learning classes and the students enter the General Population of the Prison Complex to experience lessons set up by the Mantid Primes" (Commander, part 4).
- Life selection. Newton's "ring of destiny": choosing the next body and route; in MM's terms, drawing the next template (part 4).
- Return. Through the tunnel, with amnesia, into a new body.
MM's standing caveat on Newton: he "did not understand what time, realities and the concept of quantum shadows" are, and he treats the whole cycle as natural. In the archive it is treated as the parole wing of a prison.
Clusters and karma
Everyone here has "friends, histories and associations" with other prisoners: a cluster. The longer you stay with a cluster, the more your quanta tangle with theirs; the Commander told one reader that after "many, many centuries" in these groups his entanglements were "quite strong". Karma in this material is not a court. It is a reinforcement mechanism: attachments made by every interaction, good and bad, that pull you back into the same situations with the same people.
Why The Domain calls the curriculum broken
Part 7 of the EBP comm contains the clearest account. The Commander lists six things that went wrong with the reform program:
Two views of the same place
MM's older, MAJestic-era articles call Heaven the place your soul lives and describe the Mantids as caretakers guiding human evolution toward a "purer" state. The 2021 Domain material calls the same place the parole wing of a prison. MM does not retract the earlier view; he says the nursery and the prison are the same facility, and that what changed in 2021 is who runs it and what the exit looks like.
Remember
- Heaven = a species-specific sub-pocket attached to the prison, for rest, review and planning. Cats were never fitted with one; their Heaven is a natural one.
- Your Mantid keeps you on template and meets you at death; the Mantid Primes write the lessons and still follow Old Empire rules.
- Karma is entanglement, offset by kindness, and clusters are what keep people cycling together.
- The Domain has never entered a Heaven; its exit works at the moment of death, on request.
