In one breath

ΨORM ("psi-ontic reality model", by Robert Vannrox, MM's name outside the blog) turns the blog's picture into a framework with definitions and tests. Its four claims: time is not fundamental (reality is frozen moments, illuminated in sequence); consciousness is the navigator (an active waveform choosing the next moment); reality is frequency synchronisation (the brain is a router, the soul is the cloud); and reality is not shared (each consciousness has its own path; agreement means proximity). It adds a rhythm (consciousness breathes in and out of the physical about four times a second) and five falsifiable predictions built on EEG measurements.

Why it was written

The seed document opens with a complaint about materialism: it cannot explain why experience exists at all, why we see one outcome of a quantum event rather than another, why time runs one way, or why memory survives brain damage. ΨORM's move is to reverse the starting assumption: "consciousness is primary; matter is the interface." Everything else in the archive (world-lines, slides, templates, the tunnel, Heaven) is then restated as consequences of that reversal, with the prison story left out of the formal core and returned in later sections as "the reality of MWI navigation".

The four claims

1 · Time is not fundamental Reality is an infinite set of static "frozen moments". Time is consciousness illuminating them in sequence. "The film reel is fixed. The projector is the body. The light is you." 2 · Consciousness is the navigator A quantum waveform that selects the next moment, driven by thought-garbons (present) and informed by memory-garbons (past). Free will is the mechanism of navigation. 3 · Reality is frequency synchronisation Consciousness phase-locks with the biological receiver. The brain is a router; memory lives in the cloud, which is the soul. Shift frequency, shift reality. "The wave function does not collapse, it branches." 4 · Reality is not shared Each consciousness follows its own vector. Others are quantum shadows from adjacent paths. Shared reality is frequency alignment inside the same "attractor basin": "consensus is evidence of proximity".
Four claims, one reversal. From Section III: Foundational claims. Compared with the blog's language: frozen moments are world-lines; the consciousness vector is your life-line; frequency shift is a slide; the attractor basin is a world-line cluster; quantum shadows keep their name.

Where it agrees with mainstream science, and where it parts

Kept
Quantum branching (many worlds), the measurement problem, EEG frequency bands, phase-locking as a real measurable quantity, the Hard Problem as a real problem.
Changed
The wave function "does not collapse, it branches, and we select a branch by synchronising our frequency with it". Collapse is an experience, not a physical event. The speed of light and the other constants are "the resonant frequencies of the attractor basin we are navigating", not universal absolutes.
Rejected
Consciousness as a by-product of neurons; memory stored in the brain; quantum computation in microtubules (Penrose-Hameroff): "the quantum does not need to survive decoherence, the mechanism is classical resonance".
Positioned against
A comparison table places ΨORM beside Integrated Information Theory, Global Workspace Theory, Orch-OR and Kastrup's idealism, claiming to add "mechanism" to each.

The duty cycle

ΨORM's most concrete addition is a rhythm. Consciousness does not stay in the body. It alternates between a physical phase (phase-locked to the receiver, rendering the world) and an in-between phase (decoupled, "experiencing reality directly as frequency and information"), roughly half and half. The rate is state-dependent: the blog's "4 Hz" becomes a benchmark for an alert, waking brain, with faster cycling in focused states and slower in drowsiness and sleep, mapped onto the EEG bands.

physical phase: locked to the body, the world is rendered in-between phase: decoupled, thinking, ESP, dreaming alert: fast cycling (beta, gamma) relaxed: moderate (alpha) sleep: slow (theta, delta)
Breathing in and out of the physical. "Consciousness does not jump from moment to moment. It breathes." Consequences drawn in the same section: ESP "is a natural consequence of spending more time in the non-physical"; "most people are not navigating, they are being navigated"; portals move you through frozen moments, not through space.

Shared reality without a shared world

If everyone has their own path, why do we agree on physics? Section VII answers with a landscape: the space of frozen moments has valleys, "frequency attractors", where compatible moments are dense. Consciousness vectors roll into the same deep valleys, so they agree on the speed of light and the periodic table, meet each other, and remember slightly different things at the edges. The Mandela effect, cultural differences and personal quirks are the "approximate" part of the convergence. Encounters are likely not because paths are uniform but because they cluster.

a frequency attractor: the deepest, most stable valley "We all roll into the same valleys because they are the deepest and most stable. Shared reality is the experience of occupying the same attractor basin."
Attractor basins. From Section VII: The structure of shared reality. Bleed-over between paths is possible only below a threshold of frequency difference; beyond it, "vectors are strictly orthogonal" and cannot influence each other.

Death, Heaven, and the practices, restated

  • Death is decoupling. The router stops; the network (garbons and swales) stays intact; the vector returns to its natural frequency; the "tunnel effect" is a frequency gradient at the boundary. The reserve energy a soul keeps outside during a life is rejoined. (Section IX.)
  • Heaven is a region. "Heaven is not a place. It is a region of the non-physical realms." Cats go to a cat Heaven; "love bridges the gap"; "be careful who you love, they will take you with them". (Section XI.)
  • Signposts are set in stone. Birth, death and signposts are the unalterable events; a signpost is a region of world-lines you must pass through. (Section XIV.)
  • Affirmations are frequency modulation. Section XXII restates the campaign method as "intentional frequency shift": you wind the spring, then pause to let it release; old campaigns leave residue; conflicting goals cancel; synchronicities are "feedback from the configuration space"; "a year of prayer is a short time".
  • Altered states drop the filter. Meditation, psychedelics and near-death experiences reduce the sensory gating that keeps perception narrow, which ΨORM ties to a measurable fall in alpha power and rise in gamma. (Sections XVIII and XIX.)

The five predictions

This is the part that makes ΨORM different from the blog: it names measurements that could prove it wrong.

  1. Frequency shifts are measurable. Intentional, focused thought should produce a measurable change in EEG or MEG phase coherence. Falsified if it does not.
  2. Phase-locking predicts performance. The phase-locking value between EEG channels should correlate with reaction time, perceptual thresholds, consistency under ambiguity and cognitive flexibility. Falsified if there is no correlation.
  3. Memory is non-local. Memory retrieval under anaesthesia or after brain damage should exceed what local neural storage could account for. Falsified if it never does.
  4. Shared experience tracks frequency similarity. Hyperscanning (EEG on several people at once) should show inter-brain phase-locking that predicts reports of shared experience.
  5. Intentional shifts alter perception. Neurofeedback-guided modulation should change results on perceptual tasks.

Every term is given an "operational definition" in EEG language (frequency as the dominant band, shift as a change in phase-locking value with p under 0.05, filter dropping as alpha attenuation), so that "independent researchers" can run the tests. Nothing in the archive reports that anyone has yet.

Bridges and the archaeological record

The repository also contains "bridges": short introductions written for different worldviews, each presenting ΨORM "as a complementary framework, not a replacement". There were ten in August 2026 (atheists and agnostics, Buddhists, Christians, Daoists, Hindus, Muslims, materialists, New Age readers, psychedelic science, empirical science); the v14.0 release of 21 September 2026 added twelve more (Stoicism, Judaism, Sikhism, Jainism, Baha'i, Confucianism, Shinto, Existentialism-Absurdism, Secular Humanism, Thelema-Crowley, the Golden Dawn, Witchcraft-Wicca), with the ontology "unchanged" (part 35 lists them). And it keeps an "archaeological record": about two hundred PDF exports of the original blog articles, so the formal model can be traced back to the posts it grew from. A "summary of ah-hah moments" lists the sentences the model was built around; several appear in these summaries.

What ΨORM leaves out

The formal core does not mention The Domain, the Old Empire, MAJestic or the Greys. Prison, amnesia and rescue enter only through the later applied sections and case studies. So ΨORM can be read on its own as a philosophy-of-mind proposal, and that is how its bridges present it; the summaries note that the same author holds both the formal model and the prison narrative, and that the model is designed to be compatible with the narrative rather than to test it.

Remember

  • Four claims: frozen moments, consciousness as navigator, frequency synchronisation, no shared reality.
  • Brain = router, soul = cloud; death = decoupling; Heaven = a region.
  • Consciousness breathes in and out of the physical; the rate follows brain state.
  • Five EEG-based predictions could falsify it; none has been run.
